Technology Integration Specialist
Wilmette Junior High, Wilmette, IL | 2024-Current | 7th Grade
I specialize in technology integration and AI-driven education, collaborating with teachers to design engaging, tech-enhanced lessons while researching and evaluating emerging tools to improve student learning outcomes. As a technology liaison, I advocate for innovative digital learning strategies, ensuring seamless classroom technology implementation. I have led a student-led broadcast program, fostering media literacy and leadership skills through production, editing, and distribution. Additionally, I actively contribute to curriculum development, working with educators to evaluate best practices, vet instructional resources, and enhance literacy instruction.
8th Grade Language Arts
Deer Path Middle School, Lake Forest, IL | 2022-Current | 8th Grade
So far, my team and I have adapted from 50-minute classes to an 80-minute block while implementing a new curriculum. We are also trying to employ differentiated instruction techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners and engage our 8th grade students in English Language Arts.

Film Production & Video Editing
DePaul College Prep, Chicago, IL |2021-2022 | 9th-12 Grade
In the semester-long Film Production Fundamentals, I developed a curriculum to help students cover a wide variety of topics from cinematography, screenwriting, and special effects, to sound design and engineering. In the semester-long Video Editing course, students gained a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
A mini-course I created used Articulate 360 Rise to walk through the various components of visual language. Students can test their knowledge with a quiz at the end.

Integrated Global Studies
Highcrest Middle School, Wilmette, IL |2017-2018 | 5th and 6th Grade
In IGS, a problem/project based learning class, 5th Graders focused on sustainability and how it applied to their lives while 6th graders took a broader look at issues facing the world by exploring and making sense of the Global Goals. Each rotation of students focused on a different theme.

A class-developed game to achieve the Global Goals similar to Life. Groups of students developed the game board, playing cards, “money” and more!
5th-grade students conducted a waste audit of their cafeteria to determine the effectiveness of the school’s recycling program.
Communication Media Arts
South Middle School, Arlington Heights, IL | 2016-2017 | 6th-8th Grade
In this media class, 6th-8th graders worked collaboratively on animation, video editing and sound engineering projects. Each grade level took their learning and projects to deeper level based on their previous experiences. To organize the class and effectively communicate with students, I built a website.
General Education: 5th and 6th Grade
Enders-Salk Elementary | 2011-2016 | 5th, 6th Grade
I alternated teaching 5th and 6th grade for five years, looping with two groups of students. During this time I taught every subject including literacy/writing, math and accelerated math, social studies and science. I held several leadership positions including PBIS Coordinator and was elected to the Student Leadership Team. In addition I launched several clubs including video club, PBIS (Eagle) Ambassadors, Newspaper Club, Art Club and facilitated the FUSE (STEM) Club.
